Bio
Anthony “Tony” Davis has a 3rd degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo. He fell in love with the martial arts instantly, and in 2005 began sharing his passion through teaching. With a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Communication and a Minor in Business from the University of Utah, he became the chief instructor in the Bountiful, Utah dojo and earned his 1st degree black belt in 2008. One of his greatest accomplishments includes testing for his 2nd degree black belt with the monks in the Shaolin Temple in Zhengzhou, China during the summer of 2009. Tony enjoys the intricate details in each Shaolin form and weapon techniques he teaches and loves to instill in his students this same enthusiasm. He has trained with Kenpo Grandmaster Larry Tatum ,who has 40 years of training in American Kenpo, Philip Sahagun who has a background in Kickboxing, Wushu, and Shaolin Temple Kung Fu, and many others. When he is not in the dojo he spends time outdoors with his family camping, cooking, kite-flying, cycling and woodworking.
